Texas woman suing Dallas Cowboys over 'burned buttocks'
Quote:
DALLAS – A Texas woman is suing the Dallas Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones, saying her buttocks was severely burned when she sat on a bench outside Cowboys Stadium. In a lawsuit filed last week in Tarrant Count, Jennelle Carrillo said the black marble bench was in direct sunlight on a hot August afternoon before a Cowboys scrimmage last year. A weather official says the high temperature on that day was 101 degrees.
Now I don't claim to remember EVERYTHING I learned in school, but I did learn that black absorbs heat in the sunlight, since it does not reflect any color of the spectrum, so it's going to be HOT when sitting in the sun.
So is it the financial responsibility of someone, if you sit on something hot and burn yourself?
You don't think so because your worship authority. And authority in the US whatever pleases big business.
We don't know the details yet, but lets pretend the woman was actually burned, missed work, incurred large medical bills, and was scared for life.
I'm sorry but only a authoritarian butt kisser would argue a business that exposed that women to that safety hazard at their premises is not partly responsible for what happened.
I think this a right wing survival tactic at the base of the brains that kicks in.
Their first knee jerk reaction is to protect and defend the most powerful in a confrontation, hoping in the back of their minds to be thrown a bone for loyalty to power.
See what these right wingers are asking for?
No safety regulations for business. No funding of safety inspections of business. No serious penalties for business for safety hazards. ....Then when victims turn to the courts.....they want to claim business has no responsibility for what happens on their premises?

No more benches outside cowboys stadium now I'm sure.
Most powerful. Do you think the Cowboys will pay her lawsuit? The people attending the games will. Sorry stupid people shouldn't be rewarded for being stupid.

Seriously? Tell me, would YOU sit down on a black marble bench, sitting in the direct sunlight in 101 degree temperature?
Probably not. And, though you and I do not agree on many things, I, in no way believe that you are uneducated enough to do so.
Tell me you would not put a "black" "marble" bench on your place of business that gets hot enough burn some one so badly they need skin grafts?
When there are scores of other colors/surfaces that would not store thermal energy enough to fry an egg?
Seriously? Tell me you are not that stupid?
All black cars should carry a "hot" warning label so some bimbo won't sit on the hood and sue the manufacturer.
