Its not that bad here. Most people argue on the internet. USA recently ranked 4th in the HDI report by the UN. The USA, Australia, NZ, and Europe are still in good shape despite the recent downturn. Our standard of living is really unmatched with a fairly strong middle class and middle income earners. In countries such as Brazil there is hardly middle class but only elite and lower classes.

That's not a revolution. That's flipping over the burger.

We have an opportunity for revolution every 4 years. It's called an election.

How on earth can Americans, living in the 'land of the free', even entertain the possibility of electing yahoos who brag about being heartless SOB's?

Just what WILL it take for Americans with a conscience to rise up and literally kick them out of the Oval Office, Congress.etc?

Also, with the Republican's emphasis on the military, it actually sounds like the logical result of this will be the US turning into a military dictatorship like in the Middle East. The danger isn't in Iran (well the biggest danger), it's in your own backyard. Don't think a Libyan-style dictatorship is too unrealistic given long enough. The GOP seemingly has the 'military on their side' (even though in reality the Democrats probably do have a lot of sway too) so in reality they could use fear to get the people to do anything they want. Aren't people afraid of a fascist dictatorship?

It may sound extreme, but when you have people exalting a violent, militaristic society, especially under the guise and God forbid, religion, you really have to worry.

What will happen if Romney actually does get elected? Will there be mass protests in the street? Will there be some sort of revolution? Something more than the Occupy movement which seemed to just be a lot of the same old 1960s rhetoric with no real action.
Scroll down and there is a letter by a Republican group in Virginia calling for an armed coup if they lost. In other words, "Real Americanism" at work.

They took that letter down off the server (where it existed), I wonder if they took down this billboard as well (clicking the picture below will also take to the story)

Well now that "real" American people, (Corporations, Unions, etc--Thank you Citizen's United!!!) can spend as much as they want influencing elections, there is no need for a revolution.

It will never happen since we have such a massive number of welfare programs. I do think we will have some major riots in various cities due to high unemployment or after the illegals gain citizenship. The massive amount of people looking for a decent job will spark riots in some cities like LA, NYC, Chicago.
