Your words not mine. Fact is this was in a 95% white county. Courts have nothing to do with assigning poll workers, republican county officials place them.

Do other races wait in those same lines? If so the the OP and those of you who agree are using the race card to justify lame excuses.

This year, Republicans want to put things back to the way they were in 2004.

Ohio Early Voting Cutbacks Disenfranchise Minority Voters | The Nation

Congresswoman Marcia Fudge of Ohio (D) was on MSNBC today discussing the above issue.

Republicans will do ANYTHING POSSIBLE to prevent Blacks from voting for Obama.

Whether it's purging voters in Florida, or creating unbearably long lines in Ohio, they will do everything possible to prevent a fair election from happening!
Conservatives really don't want a lot of Americans to vote. They know if every one registers to vote and actually votes, they stand no chance of winning very many elections. One of the reasons that the Republican can shift so far to the right is because the actual will of the majority of Americans is not represented by politics because so many Americans don't vote.

Is it possible to show a little more respect of other posters and a little less arrogance? I suppose that you are in the "hanging chads are the Republicans' fault" from the 2000 election.

Dear, no one is talking about lightening speed. Where did you read that?

Oh yes, forgot about what State Constitutions and Acts such as HAVA compel state officials to do to facilitate voting.

Perhaps you should read the article. Just a thought.

Damn Democrats should quit voting for Republican county officials then eh?

You are full of crap here. Perhaps you can point out this 95% white county that had long lines in the small black portion of the county?

One of the many reasons why WA is a great state, it's all done by mail, with early voting (think that Oregon's is too). Even if it wasn't there is no way, they would put of with the stuff that is going on in OH out here, even most Republicans wouldn't put up with that.

Of course it is. Unable to read? republicans fault. Unable to wait in line like everyone else? republicans fault.
Thank you for the post. I ignored the rudeness as it is expected from party hardliners.

How did I disrespect the whole black population? Because I asked if there were other races who had to wait?
