The odds are just as good that Romney will ban guns just as much as it is that Obama will ban guns. Especially since it is all speculation on our part.
No, the odds are very unlikely he would do anything in the first term because just like Obama that would put a huge damper on his reelection possibilities. When he's up for a second term we can speculate on what he might do then.

Neither will but as I've pointed out previously any ban would be done through a back door, e.g. ban lead bullets. You just make it so expensive they can't be purchased by the common man.

I'm trying to understand how Obama is a threat to the Second Amendment when he has done absolutely nothing to curtail gun rights, even when it was politically expedient to do so?

I really don't understand what is so hard to grasp about this concept. What he has done in the past means diddly squat. Not only did he not have the votes in congress to take any action on gun control, but he would have hurt his hopes for re-election. If re-elected, it could be a whole new ball game.

Yes, if he get's reelected I can forsee him easily removing the second amendment, first he allows weapons in national parks just to get your trust then he removes all gun rights. This president will stop at nothing.

He can try.......... The problem with that is if he does it is illegal, even for him.... There are harsh laws on govt officials WHO BREAK THE OATH.
If it is as simple as breaking the 2nd, which would be the smartest first move, by the time a few thousand gun owners get word out enforcement will no longer be possible.
