No, the odds are very unlikely he would do anything in the first term because just like Obama that would put a huge damper on his reelection possibilities. When he's up for a second term we can speculate on what he might do then.

Neither will but as I've pointed out previously any ban would be done through a back door, e.g. ban lead bullets. You just make it so expensive they can't be purchased by the common man.

No not at all. LOL.... The problem with the anti coal policies is a lot of the general population doesn't realize how this is going to effect them in the coming years. If you have policies that are going to effect gun ownership those gun owners will know immediately what is up.

Oh I had the idea coal was deader than dead at this point... By policy... Thanks good to know.

Right-wingers will create any straw-man argument possible, apparently.
I really don't understand what is so hard to grasp about this concept. What he has done in the past means diddly squat. Not only did he not have the votes in congress to take any action on gun control, but he would have hurt his hopes for re-election. If re-elected, it could be a whole new ball game.

This IS a valid point " If re-elected, it could be a whole new ball game." But he is getting weaker and weaker. Evidently he needs more water to swallow crow and foot in mouth disease.

Yes, if he get's reelected I can forsee him easily removing the second amendment, first he allows weapons in national parks just to get your trust then he removes all gun rights. This president will stop at nothing.

Default If

obama gets in again there will be no second amendment nor constitition. the constitution gets in obama's way as it hinders Socialism........ the only solace we have is obama voters will suffer along with the rest of us. And when the country is bankrupt, no money, who will dole out the freebees to
the 47% receiving the government freebees. Bet they never think about that.............

He can try.......... The problem with that is if he does it is illegal, even for him.... There are harsh laws on govt officials WHO BREAK THE OATH.

If it is as simple as breaking the 2nd, which would be the smartest first move, by the time a few thousand gun owners get word out enforcement will no longer be possible.

Who the Hell is crazy enough to try after word has gone out? About that time the little savior will be in shackles made of real steel facing 'We the people' in a trial for his life. A lot of his cronies won't be far behind....

And yes John, the day is nearing where that tax burden will be impossible to support the welfare life style, and those who refuse to believe they might actually have to do something to support their lousy flea bitten lives of lazy ignorance.

You know as well as i know what will happen first. Why of course a riot right where they live and they will stone the very fire dept that comes to help with rocks and bricks if not guns and blades.

Why? because 'We the people' have always reacted to rebuild and give them MORE. But this time it will be different because there is no more, and the Obama Phone thread shows why and is OT in this one.

The main here is Obama and the 2nd or Obama and the CONS.

At this moment i just want Obama gone.... Don't care where. But in the next 4 years I am many like me if he does what this thread is about will want him tried in a court of LAW for Treason and punished to the full extent of the law which is capitol.

Sadam Hussian was punished by the capitol method, just so everyone is on the same page.
