Yep, and it was a Republican plan from the beginning, supported by Romney, Gingrich, and conservative think tanks.

This is Obamas' swan song. With Americans taking back the white house in November, Obamas so-called legacy will vanish along with Lance Amstrongs Tour De France medals. Face it, this president has wasted four years looking at himself in the mirror with adoring eyes.

Please don't repeal Obamacare...if you do Michelle won't be proud to be an American anymore.
We already know how it's going to be paid for! Why are you here in this forum asking us?

1) It's being paid for by the dead beats now mandated to buy insurance.

2) It's also being paid for by moving existing federal funds around, elimination of the wasteful Medicare Advantage program, and cost streamlining of existing programs.

3) It increases the Federal Budget by a paltry 1%

I don't give a damn what SCOTUS calls it.

Having libertarian dead beats not show up at the ER expecting free health care for which they will skip out on the bill, forcing me to pay higher health care premiums is not a tax.

Only some twisted partisan would accuse Obama of "raising taxes" because of of some complex legal ruling.

Grow up. Adults realize when you say you are not raising taxes. That means income/payroll taxes. Not ....tiny fees, mandates, etc.

All in all, Obama lowered your middle class tax burden you whiney babies...LOL

Interesting - you seem to like ObamaCare but are hostile to the body that upheld it due to the central reasoning that was behind them doing so - that the mandate is a tax.

Sorry if that makes Obama look bad - but it is the truth. The mandate was ruled as being a tax - and the president said that he woudn't raise them.

It's an "inconvenient truth" - I know - but it is the truth.

When (can you provide a date?) was it voted on?

It was response/idea to another plan and never went anywhere.
Turned into just a thought.

So, what do the liberals who praised ObamaCare but denied that it was a tax on the middle class think now that businesses are passing the costs of it on to their customers?

Are you going to use the lame excuse that an indirect tax really isn't a tax on the middle class?

Some of these liberals just didn't think things through very well - that is why they got snookered.

dont worry, sooner or later the majority of taxpayers will get tired of paying the federal and state dole and just opt out of paying any taxes at all. it is a bit hard to prosecute 70 million people refusing to pay taxes.

That will be a true revolution.

Here in California we have our own history of tax revolt - Proposition 13 in 1978 - and the recall of Gov. Davis in 2003.

I am glad that you seem to acknowledge that President Obama broke his promise.
