I'm looking for conservative news sources that are civil and intelligent, and do not rely on taking cheap shots at Obama for the majority of their content. I guessing National Review is a good place to start. Any other suggestions?

The National Review went a bit "neocon," especially after September 11.

The American Conservative carries some interesting articles.

Its one of the few shows I can actually sit down and watch without getting into a heated verbal argument with my father.

Now when he watches fox and trusts it as the gospel.......

I try to get him to read AP news, and other sources that are unbiased online, but he likes his Republican junk food from Fox.

I don't consider myself a conservative by any means, but George Will and Thomas Sowell come to mind when thinking about the thoughtful "old school" commentators who at least have some form of journalism/intellectual integrity.

I also recommend Morning Joe, on MSNBC. But only watch it when Joe is on, otherwise its a liberal love fest.

CNSNews.com
The American Spectator
Breitbart

National Review has kind of wandered off the path, but they may be a good source for a mostly liberal guy
