even more ridiculous than the 'hate-bacon' incident

Quote:
A Jewish man says he’s contemplating legal action, claiming to have been arrested for bringing his dog to an Islamic group’s anti-Israel demonstration at Queen’s Park on Saturday.

Allan Einstoss, 47, was handcuffed and detained by police during a controversial Al-Quds Day rally at Queen’s Park.

Al-Quds Day is a yearly international event created in 1979 by Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini to mark the end of Ramadan and to call for the destruction of Israel and the creation a Palestinian state.

Well; arrest might be too strong a word to use for being detained to prevent an altercation but he's got a case for being WRONGFULLY detained regardless when his assault went unchallenged by those same cops. He still didn't, or hasn't yet, spent time in jail which would be arguably even more stupid such as:

Einstoss, who has no group affiliation but went to oppose the Al-Quds doctrine, said he’d spent over an hour “mingling” among members of the crowd with Cupcake, his 165-pound English Mastiff.
If it were swine, most people would have known it was meant to encite. If he were walking the dog and attempting to socialize the dog to be a therapy dog, they we might mark as if he didn't know. Add the fact that trhe dog was wearing an Israeli flag and being told that the dog was unwelcomed around Muslims, he should have taken the dog and walked it somewhere else. When he stated:

Quote:
Einstoss said that after exclaiming his right to go where he pleased....
At that point he was enciting a situation.

Look at it this way: Would it have been taken differently if a person decided to walk a pig at a Jewish festival? And that person gave the same excuse as Eintoss; of course not.

"Therapy Dog" is misleading. He wasn't there functioning as a "Therapy Dog". And according to the article, the dog isn't yet certified.

Edit: Maybe he's already certified but hasn't yet performed as a functioning Therapy Dog.

That guy's attitude is going to get him in big trouble. The dog deserves a better owner. He is hell bent on giving Therapy Dogs a bad name.
