The only ones who are keeping the issue alive are the Republicans.

The Supreme Court made a decision, Republicans should accept it and move on.

Yup, the Repugs should just shut up about it, it's legal and has been for 40 years and it's ONLY used by Repug politicians to buy votes from one issue suckers.

Here's a novel idea: why not leave it up to the mother, father, doctor, and that person(s) God, if they have one.

You know what, that's a excellent idea. Why are mere humans deciding what's right and wrong because of our religious beliefs. Why not let god decide when we die. After all, isn't he the deciding factor.

The problem is that "extreme" pro life people are pushing laws that would take away reproductive rights for everyone, in an effort to end abortion.

If Tennessee outlawed abortion, that doesn't prohibit you driving to Kentucky to get one.

We need to let the states take the lead here. Federal government gets to much power out of things like this.

The prospective father ? He doesn't have a say, not a legal one anyway. Why should he have a say ? All the guy did was deposit some sperm to create the parasite that's the woman's responsibility. Her body, her choice.

I'm all for this.

But leave it up to the individual states whether they want to spend state tax money to support.

There would be situations where couples (a man and a woman) in a committed relationship might want an abortion.

A married man does not have input on an abortion ? Not everyman is a scumbag.

no, why should an individual state get to circumvent the law of the land?
