More evidence that the balance of power in this country is becoming irrelevant & moving closer towards absolute monarchy.

It is very sad that the Congress has helped him advance their irrelevance but establishment people run both houses and seem to belong to The One.

Congress in no longer interested in it's duty to approve appointments for the administration of the Nation.

DC is the Administrative District. So many vacancies is unacceptable.

Senator Joseph Lieberman (CT) - SCHUMER, ALEXANDER, LIEBERMAN, COLLINS ANNOUNCE HOUSE PASSAGE OF BIPARTISAN DEAL TO STREAMLINE SENATE CONFIRMATION PROCESS

It is dictatorship in the making!

No more 'advise and consent' by the Senate in appointments for:

The Board of Trustees for the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture and Arts Development.

The Commissioners of the Mississippi River Commission.

The members of the National Council on Disability.

The Governor Alternate Governor for the African Development Fund.

And so many other positions that will give Obama absolute power unknown since Hitler!

I'm surprised that so many Republicans, House and Senate, agreed to this.

If the media doesn't report it, is it really true?

Rachel Maddow didn't mention it - so the liberals don't know anything about this.

Of course, Congress could have just removed the authorizations for these positions. But that would have required making a decision. Currently there are more than 100 federal agencies, surely these could at least be consolidated just to reduce the sheer amount of bureaucratic overhead, overlap, and conflicts.

Here's the list of all federal agencies from OMB:
