All this I knew before. You had suggested that the closing of the foramen ovale is part of the "transformation" in which a fetus becomes a person, and I pointed out how this can't possibly be the case since 1 out of 4 people are born without it closing.
The event is dramatic and abrupt, yes. And though a few are abrupt, the changes in the fetus when it "becomes a person" by being born are not dramatic in the sense that they change anything about the being except what route food, oxygen, and blood take to reach their destinations.
It being problematic has nothing to do with my argument. But I never said it was no big deal, just that it occurs quite frequently.
You leave off the other changes; the closure of the ductus arteriosis, which if it does not happen is a medical problem that requires repair, and the closure of the umbilical veins and arteries that prevent the newborn from getting food and oxygen from its mother. The newborn has to breathe and eat on its own.
Your skin is alive as they are living cells, yet you shed them naturally every day. Its not a medical procedures. Shall we now charge you with murder because you kill skin every day?
So in the mind of a pro abortionist dead skin cells is the same as a living breathing baby with a heartbeat, brainwaves, fingers, toes, eyes, ears, nose and mouth? God help us all.
your continued use of this term means that you are not interested in debating nor interested in the other side's position and reasoning.
the terms is Pro-Choice. As in the choice to either have an abortion, to keep the pregnancy, or to give it up for adoption.
Being pro-choice doesn't mean pro-abortion, as even many choicers are of the opinion that abortion should only be performed as a last resort decision (based on medical opinions).
your continued use of pro-abortionist shows that you're only interested in nothing but emotional rhetoric.
your continued use of this term means that you are not interested in debating. Its PRO-CHOICE. Not pro-abortion
Get it right, and maybe people will take you seriously.
If you support terminating life inside the womb then you are pro-abortion.
If you oppose doing so - then you are pro-life.
Which are you: pro-abortion or pro-life?
