It is also the chains on the governments in all 50 States, to keep them from gaining the power over the people....
Our government was to protect our freedom. Not slowly take it away piece by piece. Remember what we fought a Revolution against England, for??? It was not so we could be put back in chains.
All who care should bear that in mind come November.
There's Alah
There's God
There's Krum
There's the entirey of Greek Gods and demi-Gods
There's the entirey of Roman Gods and demi-Gods
There's the many Gods in Shintoism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Jainism
There were many gods worshiped by the Egyptians
And there is of course, no GOD or Gods at all. They are fictional beings, created by man at his weakest to seek out "guidance", but it was only an attempt by the leaders to impose laws and rules against the even weaker.
Are you saying that the God mentioned in many ways in the Constitutions of the 50 states were any of those you list. Get with the topic which sure isn't the God that the Founders were talking about. 50 states as listed in the OP.
Yep Democrats live in straw huts, don't have running water, and get around in oxen drawn carts, glad you pegged us so accurately
You think that you have built your world on your own philosophies. You DO live in a grass hut.
If you will acknowledge that the founding fathers' founding principles include as its basis the philosophy of the Judeo-Christian tradition, you will at least progress from your grass hut to the refinement of Monticello.
Well that puts and end to all this "christian persecution" nonsense doesn't it?
I don't think that many states have taken to going after Christians. All 50 of them do have that reference in their constitutions. The good part is that the states haven't strayed as far as the DC bunch has.
So, do you think First Amendment in the US Constitution was a bad idea given its direction towards religion?
Bad only when interpreted by leaners. It gets pretty bad then. Leaners say that it says there shall be separation of church and state, and leaners try to stretch that too often to mean that religion can't be used but they want it to mean no religion not freedom from having to believe. Maybe we need to rewrite that thing and let the people vote on which form, left of right should be there.
Now back to the topic of the thread and it is not the First Amendment or the US Constitution.
