Humorous, the Governor's actions are, when you consider that he was scheduled to deliver a speech at the Republican convention in Tampa ... criticizing the leadership of the President. In a time of need he turns to this same President he dislikes, recommends against, and asks for his help. Help which President Bush failed to deliver responsibly the last time Lousiana faced this type of risk. Congratulations to the President for demonstrating non-partisanship and for his demonstrated leadership.
Precisely. This is strictly a political move on his part. If Obama caves then he is spending too much. If he doesn't then he is leaving them all out to dry.
