We elected a Marxist as President, why not?
And a war monger, And a actual socialist-conservative in which his base ignored

Oh Christie is definitely morbidly obese. I don't have a problem with it though. People cope with stress and lots of other issues with any number of things, his just happens to be food obviously.

I was having dinner tonight with a friend who is skinny as a rail and has really high cholesterol at the age of 40. Heart disease runs rampant in her family even though there isn't even a chunky person among them. Thin doesn't always equal healthy.

My motivation for this thread was the recognition that there is fat prejudice. I was curious about how that translates with Christie, as people obviously didn't have a problem voting him governor.

I don't.

You, on the other hand, have a problem - it is called bigotry.

Default Maybe

Maybe if he isn't a Republican, a loudmouth, crass, babbling moron like Christie is. Christie's weight problem is an obvious indication that he has severe problems. His thinking is flawed and he's like a bull in a china shop or a morbidly obese headless horseman.

Shouldn't you be in bed so that you aren't late for the morning school bell? You're going to be so tired that you'll end up forgetting to take to school the lunch your mommy made for you.

Yes, he could be elected (I might even vote for him if he stands up to the wing-nuts in his party). The only type of person I don't think will be president in my lifetime is female. We'll probably have a gay president before a female president. Well, that may be a stretch, but the sentiment remains the same.

I think that, alas, Chris Christie actually represents most Americans both politically and physically.

With Christie's need for a bathroom due to his constant diarrhea and need to consume large quantities of fried chicken it would not be fiscally responsible to elect him to the highest office in the land.

Christie could hire one more unemployed New Jersey resident by having him/her walk behind him while playing a tuba.
