The Democratic National Convention is bringing out speaker after speaker to parrot what Obama brags about: "Obama Saved the Autoworkers' Jobs"

Apparently none of the Dems understand restructuring of companies, and that it all could have been done without government interference. Obama and the speakers interpret "file for bankruptcy" to mean "shut the damn plants down".

Auto Bailout Now Forecast to Lose $25 Billion ? and Counting

What Obama Doesn't Tell Us About Auto Bailouts
"The auto companies would not have failed. Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings would have allowed companies to restructure their debts and remain in business."

Thus the shape the nation is in after four years of Obama and the heritage of the Pelosi Congress and Reid Senate.

In a business, the democratic party would be delegated to manning the cafeteria and building decorations, while the republicans tended to the grown up work.

The democrats are like the scarecrow without a brain 'tis true. The republicans are smarter. They know how to play fetch and roll over. Unfortunately its a drop of water in the fry pan since they are effectively idiots given the mental task before them.

Arithmetic. Even a poor country boy gets it.

EDIT: For those of you who don't get it.

And once again another conservative doesn't understand the difference between Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Nether GM or Chrysler could have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy because NO ONE was willing to provide them with CASH to even get them through the process. In short they were facing Chapter 7 bankruptcy which is LIQUIDATION not RESTRUCTURING. Only with the capital infusing provided by the U.S. Treasury could either file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

And Democrats don't understand economics or finance

Winner winner chicken dinner!

To quote the Republican ticket..."we won't have our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers"!

In other words we'll lie and hope you don't catch us!

And yet ironically, it's Republicans who keep posting stupid things like the President is responsible for gas prices. Apparently Republicans aren't much better at understanding economics.

That is pretty much it. You would think that some conservatives might get it though their head that a liquidity crisis like we had in 2008 might have something to do with cash and liquidity, but alas no such luck.

If I can get the government to take money from you rich people and give it to me, I'll have more money.

What more do I need to know.
