Yup, we should fight against to tea party people that have such a tight grip on Chicago! They are destroying Chicago and those Californian towns that are going bankrupt too! This is too funny.

I wonder when people will stop to understand that nothing the FED state or Local does is cheap or free. These public sector jobs are paid for by tax dollars. While the private sector has been forced to downsize and merge companies to remain viable public sector has done little to trim the fat.

In other words, all that the government does is continue to hinder job growth in the private sector.

If you look at the numbers - the employment drop has been proportional.

I'm confused because we have one poster arguing that blacks get fired first from public jobs and another claiming that the public jobs protect blacks from the private sector racism....they seem to have all the angles covered.

Are you going to tell me that you have never witnessed blacks getting punished harshly for the same offense a white employee gets a slap on wrist for?

What makes you think whites have to be racist at all? Blacks seem to be doing a perfectly adequate job of keeping themselves down. Case in point, the blame game - black poverty is someone else's fault, and it's up to someone else to fix it, apparently.
