Courtney Stodden just turned 18 and porn companies are making offers. She married her husband while he was 50 and she was 16. Do a search and look at her photos. OK, if he, as a 50 year old man was caught watching or downloading porn that included a 16 year old girl, he'd be a registered sex offender. But in some states it's legal to marry 16 years old no matter how old you are. So it's legal for him to have sex with a minor if she's his wife but he would be convicted if caught watching her in porn or sex but not married?

Yes, age of consent is sixteen in some places, however, if he were viewing pornographic videos or photos at home online that included girls as young as 16, he'd be convicted of child porn. However, it's legal for him to have sex with a 16 year old girl? This is the part I just don't understand.

Just turned 18? I googled images of her and didn't see even one that she appeared younger than 30's. What am I missing? There is nothing youthful about her.

Weid angle that if he married her when she was 16 then made a video of them having sex, not for distribution but just for whatever reasons people make personal pornos (and god bless 'em for all the free internet content they generate) can he be charged with some sort of child pornography violation? That seems absurd if he could.
