If there were any real signs of major voter fraud I would understand. But with a possible 5 year prison sentence and up to a $10,000 fine, just to make a single fraudulent vote, I do not see this as a real issue. The real issue is which demographic might not have a photo ID, isn't it?

And 'which' demographic would that be .. hmmm?
You libs are really bad at hiding your true, dark selves .. (Which is EXACTLY) what your post tells us about you.

Which demographic my friend?
I have an ID .. Can you guess 'my' demographic?
Not having a picture ID to buy cigarettes and alcohol must be a "demographic" thingy as well.
I'd suggest that the vast majority of Texans agree with the voter ID law because it simply makes sense.
Sorry .. I don't see why it is unreasonable to demand id as proof of entitlement to vote. Voting is one of the most important things we do and we want to make sure that only those who are eligible can do it. How hard is it for a citizen to have id?
But college kids have ID yet that's not acceptable
Wonder how many college "kids" don't have a drivers' license?
I'm sure a lot don't especially when you live in a city that a car isn't required to get around. So why bother getting one. My kids didn't have one....so what. What's wrong with a college ID. You want people to show ID when they vote yet you have to approve what ID that is because maybe the ID they have is just not good enough for you

One of my roommates side businesses in college was turning out fake ID's.
Studio backdrops, camera gear, PC, high end printer and laminator .. all stored and operated out of a janitorial closet.
He either couldn't or wasn't willing to make official state or drivers license quality id's though.
Since we are talking about State or Federal Voting .. You should Have to have state or federal issued id!
BTW: I never knew about my roommates activity until after I left college!
(that's my story and .... )

I'd wager one can't buy beer or cigarettes with a college either.

What say you now?
I say....why can't they vote with a college ID. I am not talking about anything else so why are you. What do you guys want. Again, this ID is not good enough so government needs to determine what is. Is that right.
