Originally he was not favored in the election that is until his cousin BARACK OBAMA arrived in Kenya in 2006 to campaign and support his cousin. And of course in true obama fashion he denies going there just to support Raila Odinga. Even though he spoke in numerous campaign events for Odinga.

This is very important............ In 2006 Obama took a trip to Kenya and voiced his support for his fellow tribesman and political ally, Odinga. Obama also directly attacked the sitting Kenyan leadership (Kibaki) calling them ‘corrupt’ (Kenya is one of the most stable places in Africa).
Odinga is the man that ran on the socialist democrat ticket in Kenya and lost to sitting president Kibaki.

Barack Obama saw his father and his dad's family once as a child, when he was 10 years old. My 5 kids are all adopted, and they've met their birth parents once or twice as well. By your logic, my kids should be responsible or get involved with the extended family of their birth parents? Obamas dad never raised him, or had anything to do with him AT ALL. Sorry, but I think your logic is very twisted. Family is about the people you love and who you can trust and count on--it's not just an accident of biology.

I didn't read any of it at first, because with you, it's always "Obama, Kenya, communist, conspiracy, blah blah blah". Same song, same verse, except that it gets dumber each time around. Since it flew right over your head, my reference to family is regarding the case some of you nuts are trying to make that Obama's entire life was influenced by the life and politics of his family in Kenya. My point is that there's about as much connection between Obama and his dad as there is between my kids and their biological parents--they know who they are, they're polite and curious when they meet them, but at the end of the day my husband and I are the ones who've raisedthem and influenced them--WE are their family--not a group of strangers, connected through biology, who they barely know.
