Yep. Things are going great. Let's give him 4 more years and see if we can get that number higher before the 2016 election.

There had to be some way of paying farmers for the food they lost to the drought.

Households. 46.7 Million households.

People do not receive Food Stamps. They are issued solely to qualifying head of household.

You forgot to mention the part about there being about 110 Million households, and 46.7 Million receive Food Stamp benefits while 99 Million have cable/satellite.

So, for all you working tax-paying Americans, how do you feel about the fact that you are paying the cable/satellite/internet bills for 46.7 Million households?

Well, ~50% don't pay taxes, so why should they lower themselves to pay their cable/satellite/internet bill?

You might as well pay their rent for them too. Oh, wait, you're already doing that.

Amused...

Mircea

They need another name. You don't have to buy real food with them anyway. What would be a better name?

Paying for food stamps is cheaper then paying for the Police State and increased Prison System you'd need to keep them from stealing everything that isn't nailed down if the food stamp program was lost.

People need to eat, and punishing everyone because of an erroneous perception that everyone on food stamps/welfare is "lazy," will only lead to much larger problems.

You sound pretty angry and full of hate..... as always

Figures in your mind milking the goverment and sitting on your couch drinking a 40 oz is better than working a job and keeping your self respect....
