Obama has to love this government-dependent dynamo. Bigger government to spread the wealth to a larger constituency expanding like a balloon.

They aren't actually married yet but the reason her being an unwed mother was glorified is only because of the media. The biggest difference being she has the means to support all of these children and she has chosen to adopt in addition t o have biological children.

Abortions to limit population growth?

Sterilization would be more fitting instead of asking the taxpayers to fund abortion for those who refuse to take responsibility for their own actions.

The greatest problem seems to be the implicatios that these births have on our government and our society:
Children born to unmarried mothers are more likely to grow up in a single-parent household, experience instability in living arrangements, live in poverty, ...have socio-emotional problems....are more likely to have low educational attainment, engage in sex at younger ages,....have a premarital birth,....(and) (A)s young adults,.....are more likely to be idle (neither in school nor employed), have lower occupational status and income, and have more troubled marriages and divorces than those born to married parents.

These women suffer many disadvantages compared to their married counterparts including lower incomes and education levels, and a dependence on welfare assistance. Single mother with children find it difficult to attract a successful male spouse due to already having a child from a previous relationship.

The democrats must be licking their chops. A dynamo producing more government-dependent voters.
The race involved doesn't matter. You keep rewarding foolish, risky, irresponsible behavior with handout after handout, what do you expect? We as a society have taught several generations that being single and squatting out babies is a way to be financially independant and never work a day in your life. People aren't stupid, they have learned from that reward and are acting accordingly. If you reward a dog with a treat every time he craps in the corner...it doesn't take long before that's the only place he goes. If you want to change the behavior...allow them to be responsible for their own actions. Quit frickin' rewarding them for it. Pretty flippin' simple.

Of course, blame the women.
The men are just as responsible, how about the government actually enforcing the child support laws?
Problem solved.

I know it flies in the face of your little neocon brain but most of Obama supporters are working people with families. Now go listen to Rush.

How about people use birth control they pay for or abstinence if they can't afford a baby? this goes for both men and women.

What is even sadder is that these girls are falling into the swill of unmarried motherhood, poverty and welfare without even understanding that there are other options available to them. I do not agree that the schools should be responsible for raising children, however, I do believe that it is the schools' responsibility to demonstrate the value of getting a good education and raising above the squalor of the ghetto (barrio, other side of the tracks respectively). If single mothers cannot instill a sense of self respect into their children by god, SOMEBODY'S got to do it. Either the schools or the church or somebody. Otherwise, this is NOT going to get better any time soon.

So what is the solution, I mean if someone is going to whine about a situation I would think they would have a solution to suggest. So what is it folks, shame the girls or women after they have a baby, maybe make them wear a scarlet A, maybe cut off all aid to the mothers, that will teach those children a great lesson also. I find it interesting that no one mentions the fathers, you do know that it takes two to make a baby don't ya, how about them paying for their actions? Yes, let's all ***** and stomp our feet while not mentioning solutions that would actually help, now I think we are on to the real problem.
