They don't want to hear that. Nor do they want to remember that obama got just about everything his little heart desired during that time. And that includes the unconstitutional obamacare that had to have the wording changed to "tax" in it in order for a Republican judge to allow it. But, the Republicans won't work with the Democrats, right?

Harry Reid(D) has been the Senate Majority Leader since 2007.

Nancy Pelosi(D) was the Speaker of the House from 2007 until 2011.

So tell me again, which party had control of the House from 2007-2011?

And which party has had control of the Senate since 2007 until present?

Democrats had a 60 seat majority from September 24, 2009 thru February 4, 2010. 4 months; not 2 years

Democrats lost their 60 seat majority when Republican Scott Brown of Massachusetts was sworn into office in February of 2010.

This does not account for the number of days Congress was not in session during that time. If one subtracts the number of days Congress was out, the time that President Obama had a Democratic majority in Congress is further reduced by more than 30 days, or another full month.

Of a possible 94 legislative days during that period, the Senate was only in session for 67 days, while the House labored for 54.

See Congressional calendar spanning the time frame

Interesting.
Have you read the conservatives' posts on this site? They don't seem to factor in Congress very much. It's Obama did this and Obama did that. I don't think very many of them even know what Congress is and for the ones who do, they say Obama's a dictator, serving as the executive branch, legislative branch, and judicial branch as if he were some unholy trinity of big governingness.

So, sad to say, this type of post will not sway many folks. Congress doesn't matter, doesn't even exist in the Obama dictatorship.
