Name one job that you can have for four years where your record is this rotten and you get to keep it?

The amount of money he spends and the jobs that are lost would cause any CEO to lose his job. Why is it "fair" for him to keep his job when he is not doing it correctly.

Because his record isn't that bad given the circumstances. Bush was re-elected because he was a "war" president.

43 months straight with unemployment over 8%.... why wouldn't Obama take credit for it? Obviously his plan worked.

Not that bad?

Name one thing, about our economy, besides the fat cats on Wall Street, that is doing any better since this Obama was sworn into office. People and companies bailed out, or given free taxpayer money, borrowed from the Chinese, do not count.

When it's recovered. If not within the next 4 years, then the next Prez will have that honor.

I think Obama should get credit/blame when the majority of economist think he has done something to screw up the economy. There is no such consensus. The only people braying about it are those with a political end goal of pinning this on him. That does not fly.

After a huge recession, housing prices often decline for up to 6-10 years or more (Great Depression, Japanese Recession,etc.). V shaped recoveries are rare. Most are U shaped, because it takes a while to deleverage the debt overhang and unemployment overhang.

He said he could do it in 3 years. That is how he got voted in. Either he lied or he is incompetent. I might believe this "he just needs 4 more years" crap if I had not seen a president turn things around in 4 years during my lifetime. It is possible. Reagan did it. obama should be able to do it too. A president that is too busy to go to his job council meetings, but has no problem making it out to the golf course DOES NOT CARE ABOUT OUR COUNTRY!!!! He can batt his eyes and say, "pretty please, this time I will do better" if he wants to. I'm not buying it. Actions speak louder than words to me. These obama lovers remind me of abused women that try to justify the abuse because they love their partner. "Well, he says he won't do it again. He just needs more time to get things together". Maybe the obamalovers need some therapy too.

I still blame bush. He took the economy so low I really don't think anyone Democrat or Republican can fix this mess anytime soon. I believe it's going to a long time before we truly rebound. I'll be voting for Obama because I think Romney has made too many idiotic comments and reminds me of Bush in some ways. We can't really compare the economy today and the economy of Reagan because there are too many different factors in play today as opposed to back then.
