The deficit and debt would still be sky-high, because Republicans only care about those things when they're not holding the Presidency.
The economy would have sucked EVEN MORE.
There would probably be no financial reform enacted.
Healthcare would be failing fast, and your insurer could dump you for any long-term illnesses.
We'd probably have troops on the ground in both Iran and Syria, leaving our soldiers to die for a bunch of people who wouldn't turn them over if they were drowning in a puddle.
You forgot that every country in the world would have lost respect for us, the auto industry would have been lost for good, and the draft would have been reinstated.
It would be round about the same with McCain. However, the republican party did not take that election seriously. They knew before the election this is a lost one regardless. That is why their strategy has been quite steady dealing with the democrats right at the start. What amazes me is how stupid the party has been the last 4 years. You'd thing their strategy would have evolved somewhat but has receded as far as I'm concerned.

GM went bankrupt AFTER we gave them billions in taxpayer's money. There would have been no change if they'd have filed for bankruptcy without the taxpayer's money.
BTW....GM still owes us over $40 Billion.....$30 Billion of which we'll never get repaid.
