Good. Let France be the fall guy this time around since Iran is supplying Assad.

Many of our adventures in the Middle East are rooted in the irresponsible way the French and British divided-up the Ottoman Empire after WWI. It's about time they got their hands dirty cleaning-up the century long mess that they created.

Are these the same "rebels" that wiped out old momar and took over libya to only turn around and kill our ambassador? I think they are. Anybody asked Hillary yet? I highly doubt it.

I am gratified thet the French can be just as foolish as the Brits and us when it concerns the Middle East. We and the Europeans should just get out and stay out.

Foolish: No. Syria was a French Mandate since 1918. So France wants to protect its interests there in who they think will be the new leaders.

The last time France tried to conduct a military campaign we inherited it--Vietnam.
