The only thing Kerry ever slaughtered was the character of his fellow servicemen when he came home and went into politics. The man has 0 honor and as such has 0 influence on this vet.
Not totally true. He shot a suspect VC wearing a loin cloth in the back who had previously been wounded by a round from a M-60. Anyone happen to know the caliber of that weapon? Anyone happen to know what that caliber round does to the human body?
Two things come glaring out of what I have read so far ... very, very few of you have been to VN. Virtually all of you have forgotten that two of the three PH's came the same day. The SS was AWARDED two days after KERRY submitted it ... with no review.
The Dims have done their best to turn the words Swift Boat into something derogatory. But that is the Dim mantra ... so it is to be expected.
Why did Kerry attack his fellow vets and label many as war criminals in 1971?
Because savagery committed against the Vietnamese people was not uncommon. Keep in mind, things like the widespread apologism for the human sewage the perpetrated the massacre at My Lai. That's the upside down world in which we lived in the late sixties and early seventies. A pity some of you "pro-life" Christians have such selective outrage that seems to vanish when the lives of people outside American borders are vanquished in the most unspeakable ways fighting for "our freedom." Also a pity that there weren't more folks like Kerry speaking out against needless killing.

He admitted to misrepresenting the facts......
He claimed to have seen atrosities as well as other war crimes.
Fact as a member of the US Military and under the UCMJ he was compelled to report such activities. As an officer he was compelled to react to and stop such activities. He did neither. Because as he admitted years later he misrepresented the facts. It went from seeing to heard about. He was still compelled to act upon it. Instead he waited until he was running for office, the climate was anti-military and he slandered his fellow servicemen. He admitted it.
I always love reading these mockeries of how he was wounded. "Pansy protester got shot in the butt and came home crying a-hurr-hurr, a-hurr-hurr."
You know what?
1. He was actually there to fight and get wounded, unlike many star chickenhawks of the GOP and Tea Party.
2. He was wounded three times: one of them in his arm, one in his leg, and the third time was his whole arm, and received three purple hearts as well as a bronze and a silver star. Not once in the butt.
3. He was stitched up and put right back into service; regardless, in each incident, he kept on fighting after being wounded.
It's good to know that you don't respect our military, though
Do you ever fact check before you stick your foot in your mouth?

Kerry is just a sore looser.
