What would happen to the TEA Party?

What would happen to the GOP? Would sane minds like Gary Johnson be welcomed back into the fold? Would the party become the party of Ron Paul disciples?

If the Evangelicals vanished, how much better off would we be?
Sodom and Gomorrah by the Atlantic or Pacific depending on your perspective.

More like the earth Jesus envisioned where everybody loved thy brother. Where people didn't judge each other based upon race, religion, color of skin, or social glass. The place where people lived in harmony and there was no war, hunger, poverty, and hate. Fanatical christans and other fanatical religious types have brought much of these problems to the earth over the last 2000 years...

The same Christian evangelicals who love war and excluding those who don't support their own ideology would heap scorn on Jesus if that man returned to earth today, they would call him a "socialist" and because of his brown skinned complexion would also likely make accusations of being a terrorist.

Christianity in the United States today is fairly grotesque, there are still a majority of good Christians in the country but their movement, along with their ideology, has been hijacked by the leaders of the movement on a crusade against "immorality", which helps blur the focus to these same leaders intolerance and immorality.

And their melding with the Republican party was for the express purpose of dividing the country. Better to split the working class and poor into arguments amongst themselves than allow them to focus on those who are robbing the country blind (Republicans).

The uber wealthy not paying taxes, shipping jobs overseas, a political movement that scorns science and climate change, their unending devotion to the military industrial complex and their wars of aggression, the list goes on...

See, now THIS is a religion I could support. Wouldn't it be nice if we actually had a religion here in America that embraced these things? Alas, we do not...

Generally speaking it would be a more pleasant place to live, but I would miss my parents.

Where do American liberals get the idea that all Christians are "right wing"? Christianity if you know anything about the original concepts is anything but right wing- It is a highly intelligent system that is the core of real socialism. Just because some Christians lean hard on the Old Testament which is Judaic law and a record of old Jewish history...most of which documents poor human behavior and glorifies it..Does not mean that all Christians have embraced the OT...which is harsh and most definitely right wing. Secularist define right wing Christians as those that despise sodomy...that's it!

If you are not pro-gay then you are right wing? Is this the base of how Americans perceive Christianity...Jesus Christ was about fair play and justice...and I hate to admit it here- Christianity in it's real form is as LEFT wing as the heart is on the left side of the chest.

if Christians were to disappear,
I suppose we'd be left with the atheists and Mormons and such. Both the republican party and the democrat one would lost a lot of voters, and crime would likely skyrocket.
