I agree.

I am a conservative. However, Obama is the worst president in US history. His defeat should be, and probably will be, a chip shot. In the unlikely event that Obama wins, I would doubt that the dems could ever field a worse, more incompetent candidate. If we cannot beat Obama, it would be time to fold up the tents.

Nah...you won't fold the tents. You guys are gluttons for rejection. After nominating Dole and McCain, you just keep nominating feckless candidates. And worse you blew the McCain ticket with a nitwit like Palin.

You guys never learn....that tent will never fold.

I have given this some considerable thought, and based upon my experience I have to agree with your assessment, at least in one regard. As someone who grew up under Eisenhower, JFK, and LBJ, and participated in the elections for Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush (41), Clinton, Bush (43), and Obama, Obama ranks among the least qualified and most incompetent President since I have been alive. Even Carter and Clinton had executive experience, having both been governors. While I consider Obama the most anti-American President in US history, I do not consider him the worst. The Democrat controlled Congress from 2007 through 2010 did more damage to the nation than anything Obama has done. Obama has absolutely no influence in Congress, even his own party will not vote for the budget he proposes, and that greatly limits the damage he can do. Everything that Obama has done thus far can be undone by Executive Order.

Having said all that, my knowledge of US Presidents says that your are mistaken about Obama being the worst President in US history. The infamous distinction still resides with FDR. Without a doubt FDR did more harm to the nation than any President before or since.

Right, which is why he got 4 terms and probably could've had more if he didn't die first. Because he was doing all kinds of harm. Yea...makes sense.
