Ah yes shut down the party and start all over. If he can't be forced to run on his record then we need some better people running Romney's campaign. Someone who will try to force him to defend his record. In fact, in the linked audio you can hear the words about how the person who started all the Geico commercials is smart enough to win this campaign and all those losers who have been losing all these elections need to be shunted to the side.

What part of his record is he talking about? Obamacare, Stimulus, Cash for Clunkers? I never hear any of his people talking about those things. They are his record, aren't they?

Is that the best deflection you could think of? You didn't listen to the audio link, did you?

I have a pretty diverse group of friends in one of the most liberal areas of the country and still can't find anyone who thinks Obama has done a good job.

My most liberal of friends think he's too conservative and the rest think he's a communist.

The die hard liberals will vote for Obama. The fiscal-minded independents and other republicans will vote for Romney.

A big group will abstain and with any luck Romney will win.

Just keep telling yourself that.

Though all that denial might make it even harder for you to move on to acceptance after Obama's inevitable victory.

She's right, Roy, it should be a gimme election.

But Romney no more speaks to or for average Americans than Obama does. He is the personification of Big Business, which in 2012 is an enemy of the people - their freedom and future well being....and Americans know it.

So once again we have a none-of-the-above election - because we have two parties representing special interests at the fringes rather than average Americans. Republicans protecting the sociopathic elite who have been exporting America's wealth and essence for 30 years and democrats beating the bushes for every social misfit and parasite vote they can find.

Sad, sad indeed.
