This is so phony it is not funny. We have buoy's that can hear a sea horse fart. How is it we could track over 500 Russian subs during the cold war all over the globe but cannot target these clunky inventions? Something does not add up here! Could it be all about the money?

Maybe we don't want to track the smugglers submarines? After all more people are getting rich off the drug trade than are dying of it.

The NYT apparently need a new fact checker. A thethered submersible makes far more sense.

The "war on drugs" has created an industry "too big to retire".

These perpetual wars against an abstract means it can go on forever and be forever funded.
You don't want to end this war because when you do you are out of a job.

I will say this...there is A LOT more coke on the streets now than there was 10 years ago. I actually found a baggie on the sidewalk walking home from work Friday night.

Ya think. Between the prison insourcing, contracts and drug wars funding. Look at the percentage by far of offenses. According to BOP recent numbers just under 50% is drug related offenses. No other area remotely comes close.

Interesting that about 60% of inmates are white and like 94% male.
