Without the establishment of Israel, everything in the ME since 1948 would be different. I have no way to know whether it would be better or not, but it's certain that 9/11 would not have happened as it did.

Considering Muslims killing Muslims is be far the largest problem in the Middle East I don't know why you and others are so concerned with Israel. Do you really think if Israel disapeared today there would be any less killing in the Middle East?
Since the former USSR also supported the establishment of Israel it probably would have been created even if the USA had not supported at the time.

Osama bin Laden was 15 in 1972; he would've been an unusual young man to begin masterminding 9/11 at the time, although it's possible.
He also never had any connection to Black September or any other subset of the secular PLO.
