This is a stupid and disgusting movie so I understand why it is not liked. But these attacks as a result are still not justified.
Yeah, it doesn't look too entertaining. Christians, Jews, Mormons are mocked all the time. Yet no riots, no violence, no killing over it. They may speak out against it but they're civil, unlike some in the Middle East, who seemingly can't wait for reasons to act barbaric

It doesn't matter kind of guy he is. You don't blame free speech for the murder done in response. The Muslims do this all the time with every other religion. They demand (and we give them) special dispensations while every other religion is open for criticism or satirical cartoons - but if we do it to Islam - then we asked for it. Their pedophile prophet should be called out just like we do for catholic priests or any political leader. If they are insulted by it - so what. Let them attempt to fight the world. But, NEVER appease them.

Crusade vs. Muslim - What does that even mean? The papacy wanted to take the wealth of the holy lands and used the European manarchies to do their bidding. Much like today's military is a branch of multinational corporations.
The Muslim Brotherhood is behind these attacks, and the relation to 911 is quite obvious. They don't just want money, they want everything and everyone.

Your analogy is a complete disconnect from reality.
This is "Religion gone wild". Freedom of speech allowed some daft artist to put a Christian symbol in urine and put it on display. Did you see riots in the street and people murdered in cold blood ? No, no you didn't. Sure we expected outrage in the form of verbal and written. But, because of our laws and freedoms, that artist did NOT have to go into hiding for his life NOR did anyone think there would be bloodshed because of it.
WE are the ones that are civilized and tolerant. They are not. They are living in the 15th Century here and they won't accept any other view other than their own.
I keep hearing "handful" or "small group" of radicals. If a government doesn't condone it then the government WILL put an end to it. None of them will turn their own in. They live in fear of their own people if they speak out so they don't.
Their fear is so far reaching that Muslims here keep quiet as well and don't speak out.
The radicals have the upper hand and they know it.
