One has to look closely at what has really happened. The so called consumer protetion written into law actually are standards that prevent people from qaulfying for loans who by all standards are credit worthy normally.Everyoen wants to hold caqsh and maintain wealth rather than lend it or invest it.Its part of risk off and if you can't fiance new homjes you can sell new homes or build them ;bno matter what to any degree.

Who cares what happens after that?

BTW, remember the last time the Fed and its agencies, started buying up tons of mortgages?

Here's a hint: //www.city-data.com/forum/polit...l#post26032970

Yes, this kind of huge buying, led directly to the economic crisis we've been in for the last four years.

Now they are going to do it again. "At least people will like us for a while... long enough to get their votes a few months from now."

GREAT plan.
Hey now, fair's fair. Your boys have been busy stalling, filibustering, and doing everything in your power to make sure that Obama accomplishes nothing. Mitch McConnell said as much. Deal with it, brah.

"The goal is to bring the dollar down. obama wants a global economy."

??? We have a global economy. We've had one for centuries. That's the whole reason there are conspiracy theories about international bankers. That's one of the primary reasons the Rust Belt fell apart. The entire reason we had all that anti-communism propaganda back in the day is that they had the temerity to leave the global economy back in 1917 and sell the ideology to other countries that you could do that (which is why Russia mostly wasn't affected by the Great Depression - its economy had been decoupled from the global economy.) Our biggest, most ardent free traders now are all Republicans and so-called conservatives (although I don't see what's conservative about the philosophy of people with giant piles of money being able to change the world in whatever ways they see fit).

If you want to see international conspiracy theories, well, the raw material is there, but it doesn't have all that much to do with Obama, particularly.
