The word means a destestable act or repugnant practice. The fact is you are forbidden to lay with a man as one lays with a woman. It does not say only in the context of worshiping Molech or that it is ok if it is YHWH

No it doesn't, it refers to a taboo or ritual impurity. Wearing mixed fabrics, eating shellfish, and having long hair in the Tabernacle are the same word.

Actually it does discuss it in the context of pagan worship. And is further supported by Deuteronomy 23, which commands Israelites not to become shrine prostitutes.

And how does a man lay with another man as he would a woman?

Words for posters and readers to consider.

Get to know a Gay person before passing judgement(which by the way should be left to the Lord).

We are just like everyone else: We work......we pay taxes.....we cry.....we love.....we have families.....we eventually die.

We want the same things out of life as everyone else: To find someone to love that love us too.....someone to grow old together with......to live in peace.....to live with respect.....

We only want equality....whether or not you agree with "being gay" is not an issue to us; we just want the same rights afforded other people/couples.

Ask a Gay person why they are gay...they cannot give you a specific answer we just "are"; the same answer you'd get asking straight people why they are straight.

To the uninformed...this is an important issue....thousands of gay teens are bullied....thousands more are kicked out of their homes to live on the streets....thousands commit suicide....thousands are beat up and thousands suffer.

For those of you using The Bible as your "Guide" conaider the TEN Commandments...WE all can agree to live by them whether we are religious, agnostic athiest etcetera.

Gay people ARE NOT mentioned in the Ten Commandments.

How many of you have broken the Ten commandments....or your friends/family...loved ones...spouses......??????

Do you treat them worse than gays because they have commited a Mortal Sin.

In Deuteronomy.......22:13:21...... A marriage shall only be considered valid ONLY if the wife is a virgin...... IF the wife upon marriage is NOT a virgin she is to be put to death(notice there is no such penalty for the males).

Don't think anyone is following that one!

If you are referring to Leviticus consider ALL the other rules you then must follow; you cannot pick the ones that suit your whims and disregard the rest...that is Hypocritical.

Our constitution guarantees freedom of religion OR freedom from religion...it does not grant people the right to impose their religious beliefs on others!

Really, it can refer to ritual things, but how does one perform having sex with one's mother in a pure manner - ritually speaking? It speaks of rituals of the pagans not just the Hebrews - there is no pure manner in which to perform pagan rituals. And why would one be set on fire or put to death for being ritually impure? Also, see Deut.7:6 where those who are catergorized as such are under Divine Judgment usually unto destruction. How do you sacrafice to demons in an impur manner? Duet.32:16-17.

Lev.18:30 refers to all the acts forbidden as '...statutes of destestable acts.'

LN 25.186-25.188 detestable thing, abomination, repulsion, i.e., an object which is loathsome and abhorrent (Dt 7:26), note: the object may be a concrete “thing” or a “way” or “practice,” as lifestyle behavior; 2. LN 6.96-6.101 idol, formally, repulsive thing, i.e., a worship object, with a focus that it is an item to be rejected (Dt 32:16; 2Ch 34:33; Jer 16:18; Eze 5:9; 7:20; 11:18, 21; 16:36)

Oh and Don't forget Paul's take on it - Rom.1:18-28.

'For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of peoplewho suppress the truth by their unrighteousness...Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.'

Paul probably knows better than you.

Give it up!

Perhaps you should ask Cain, seeing as he did it.

Paul never attacked what you are attacking. Philo, a Jewish legal expert and contemporary of Paul would know better than you and he claimed Paul was attacking pagan prostitutes and those who commit pederasty in the verse you quoted.

Btw, might want to read romans 2, because you like all homophobes, always pull Romans 1 out of context. By your logic, Paul has declared you a homosexual.

And no, I won't give it up. I will continue to highlight the lies and hate that people like you spread over a corrupted 4000 year old text translated in the wrong language by Conservative, ignorant, Bible publishers.

I do feel sorry for confused and insecure children and adolescents who are manipulated by deviant adults into believing that they are "gay".
Then what are they, if they're not gay?

Why? Probably because you would give money to groups who need it to fight legalizing same sex marriage.
