Homosexual author Gabriel Rotello notes the perspective of many gays that "Gay liberation was founded . . . on a 'sexual brotherhood of promiscuity,' and any abandonment of that promiscuity would amount to a 'communal betrayal of gargantuan proportions." Rotello's perception of gay promiscuity, which he criticizes, is consistent with survey results. A far-ranging study of homosexual men published in 1978 revealed that 75 percent of self-identified, white, gay men admitted to having sex with more than 100 different males in their lifetime: 15 percent claimed 100-249 sex partners; 17 percent claimed 250- 499; 15 percent claimed 500-999; and 28 percent claimed more than 1,000 lifetime male sex partners.5By 1984, after the AIDS epidemic had taken hold, homosexual men were reportedly curtailing promiscuity, but not by much. Instead of more than 6 partners per month in 1982, the average non-monogamous respondent in San Francisco reported having about 4 partners per month in 1984.6
In more recent years, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control has reported an upswing in promiscuity, at least among young homosexual men in San Francisco. From 1994 to 1997, the percentage of homosexual men reporting multiple partners and unprotected anal sex rose from 23.6 percent to 33.3 percent, with the largest increase among men under 25.7 Despite its continuing incurability, AIDS no longer seems to deter individuals from engaging in promiscuous gay sex.
The data relating to gay promiscuity were obtained from self-identified gay men. Some advocates argue that the average would be lower if closeted homosexuals were included in the statistics. That is likely true, according to data obtained in a 2000 survey in Australia that tracked whether men who had sex with men were associated with the gay community. Men who were associated with the gay community were nearly four times as likely to have had more than 50 sex partners in the six months preceding the survey as men who were not associated with the gay community.This may imply that it is riskier to be "out" than "closeted." Adopting a gay identity may create more pressure to be promiscuous and to be so with a cohort of other more promiscuous partners.
Excessive sexual promiscuity results in serious medical consequences — indeed, it is a recipe for transmitting disease and generating an epidemic. The HIV/AIDS epidemic has remained a predominantly gay issue in the U.S. primarily because of the greater degree of promiscuity among gays. A study based upon statistics from 1986 through 1990 estimated that 20-year-old gay men had a 50 percent chance of becoming HIV positive by age 55.13 As of June 2001, nearly 64 percent of men with AIDS were men who have had sex with men.Syphilis is also more common among gay men. The San Francisco Public Health Department recently reported that syphilis among the city's gay and bisexual men was at epidemic levels. According to the San Francisco Chronicle:
"Experts believe syphilis is on the rise among gay and bisexual men because they are engaging in unprotected sex with multiple partners, many of whom they met in anonymous situations such as sex clubs, adult bookstores, meetings through the Internet and in bathhouses. The new data will show that in the 93 cases involving gay and bisexual men this year, the group reported having 1,225 sexual partners."
A study done in Baltimore and reported in the Archives of Internal Medicine found that gay men contracted syphilis at three to four times the rate of heterosexuals. Promiscuity is the factor most responsible for the extreme rates of these and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases cited below, many of which result in a shortened life span for men who have sex with men.
Promiscuity among lesbians is less extreme, but it is still higher than among heterosexual women. Overall, women tend to have fewer sex partners than men. But there is a surprising finding about lesbian promiscuity in the literature. Australian investigators reported that lesbian women were 4.5 times more likely to have had more than 50 lifetime male partners than heterosexual women (9 percent of lesbians versus 2 percent of heterosexual women); and 93 percent of women who identified themselves as lesbian reported a history of sex with men. Other studies similarly show that 75-90 percent of women who have sex with women have also had sex with men.

Re their 'information' about lesbians:
The fake “college” wants you to think that all lesbians are promiscuous, have STI's, have lots of male partners, and must just choose to be ‘gay’.
Let’s see exactly how they misrepresent the study above.
First, I’ll provide a direct link to the freely available full text of the actual study so you can check what I’m writing yourself. Notice that these fakes did NOT do this.
Now on to the full text of the study itself and what it reveals, or more importantly, DOESN”T reveal:
1. The study was NOT about lesbians at all
2. The study looked at records from a Sexual Health Clinic in the middle of the RED LIGHT district of Sydney in the early 1990’s. That means, many of the women were working prostitutes, which the author clearly states herself. Guess what? Sex workers have sex with a lot of men. Many also have sex with women as part of the “service”.
3. The study looked at the medical records of 1408 women who had reported EVER having had sex with a woman.
4. The women’s sexual orientation was never identified at all and the type of sexual contact they had with another woman was not identified either. “We also lacked data on specific female to female sexual practices and sexual identity.”
5. Only a small subset of 238 out of 1408 women were 'indentified as 'exclusively WSW' (Women who had Sex with Women) but that was only if their records did not identify any sexual contact with a male in the previous 12mths. There was nothing about them being asked if they identified as a lesbian... These could have been women with any sexual orientation.
6. Which means in the whole group of 1408 women, even in the subgroup... There is NOTHING helpful to identify who were actual lesbians, who were heterosexual, who were bisexual, who were previous and not current sex workers, or random women who had just snogged their best friend in front of their boyfriend etc...
However:
7. 353 of the 1408 women (25%) had never had sex with men at all. That’s 352 of the 1408 women. Gosh... perhaps it was mostly these women who were lesbians and not the ones who just hadn't had sex with men for the past 12mths? But that is not specified in the article.
See how these fakes have deliberately and totally misrepresented this study? They did the same type of thing with the other 'studies'
Here is what the Editor says. Take note of what these fakes conveniently didn’t make a ‘clear statement’ about:

As mentioned in my previous post, this tiny fringe group of less than 100 members (and not all of them are actually doctors) tries to masquerade as some legitimate health organization like the real American Academy of Pediatricians which has over 60,000 clinical members.
Just one of their deceitful 'smear and fear' tactics was sending out their fraudulent "Facts about Youth" anti-gay propaganda misinformation sheet to schools across the US about 2 years ago.

George 'rentboy' Rekers has also had a professional scandal when it was revealed that his original PhD thesis from the 1970's was based on a study in which he was involved which used fraudulent data. The study involved 'therapy' which they claimed could turn 'sissy' boys straight. (It didn't of course.)

I have no problem with what God created...I just don't like the idea of people re-creating what he created and using gays for recreational sex..This is an issue that is never mentioned and it is not politically correct to insinuate that some who live the "life style" are not real gays...just selfish creeps who hide behind the gay banner.
