Why does he even need to debate? 8% unemployment, 16 trillion in debt, downgraded credit rating, broken promises, bail out of bankrupt companies, 4 dollar gas etc..........

I don't get it? What am I missing?

ROMney+ryAN = ROMAN

As in Roman Empire.

You know, the empire that went out with a wimper after banging along for so long...

A vote for ROMAN will be the downfall of our country, IMO.

Everything that you just attempted to pin soley on Obama, clearly shows that what you are "missing" are facts and a penchant for doing the research.

He's laying the groundwork for when he loses, getting his excuses all lined up, which is kind of telling. It doesn't speak to much confidence that he's going to do well. Next I expect to start seeing the meme being floated around that he's not as good a debater as the President, which will be picked up and repeated by Fox and all of the rightwing blogosphere to lower expectations and soften the ground, pre-debate. Kind of how the McCain campaign lowered the bar for Palin, so much so that all she basically had to do was show up and not trip on her way to the podium and it was considered a "win."
