I heard yesterday that as many as 52,000 people have seen that movie on YouTube. It looks like most of them must have been Muslims. I really question that it was that thing that caused all the trouble since the movie just became available on Monday or Tuesday.
The protests were planned prior to knowledge about this stupid movie. It appears soccer hooligans were being called out in the beginning. Never mess with the soccer hooligans.

"The protest was planned by Salafists well before news circulated of an objectionable video ridiculing Islam's prophet, Mohammed, said Eric Trager, an expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
The protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was announced Aug. 30 by Jamaa Islamiya, a State Department-designated terrorist group, to protest the ongoing imprisonment of its spiritual leader, Sheikh Omar abdel Rahman. He is serving a life sentence in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
When the video started circulating, Nader Bakkar, the spokesman for the Egyptian Salafist Noor party, which holds about 25% of the seats in parliament, called on people to go to the embassy. He also called on non-Islamist soccer hooligans, known as Ultras, to join the protest."

Deadly embassy attacks were days in the making

Al-Qaeda said the deadly attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya was in revenge for the killing of the network's number two, Sheikh Abu Yahya al-Libi, SITE Intelligence Group reported on Saturday.

"The killing of Sheikh Abu Yahya only increased the enthusiasm and determination of the sons of [Libyan independence hero] Omar al-Mokhtar to take revenge upon those who attack our Prophet," Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula said in a statement, quoted by the US-based monitoring group.
This can't be it was a because of video!!!!! Amateur hour at the White House continues.

Also Libyan officials are claiming they warned three days prior about the attacks on the embassy.

"Benghazi, Libya (CNN) -- Three days before the deadly assault on the United States consulate in Libya, a local security official says he met with American diplomats in the city and warned them about deteriorating security. Jamal Mabrouk, a member of the February 17th Brigade, told CNN that he and a battalion commander had a meeting about the economy and security.
He said they told the diplomats that the security situation wasn't good for international business.
"The situation is frightening, it scares us," Mabrouk said they told the U.S. officials. He did not say how they responded. Mabrouk said it was not the first time he has warned foreigners about the worsening security situation in the face of the growing presence of armed jihadist groups in the Benghazi area."

Apparently there were many warnings about jihadist groups in the area and we still didn't provide marines to secure the embassy. I guess Hillary was too busy planning here assault of Syria and didn't have any spare troops to drop back in the "mop up" areas.

Weren't we the ones who gave AL Queda in Libya weapons when they were part of the rebel group we supported to overthrow Khadafi?

Sounds like Fast and Furious in the Middle East. First a border agent's blood on this administration's hands, now 4 more Americans dead due to an inability to understand consequences of decisions.
The Obama administration will now disavow the statements of its spokesman. Hey that Romney guy really misfired on the timing of his statement eh?
