Sounds like it's 100%. Only if humans are 100% responsible are you willing to change what you are doing? Well, aren't you lucky - you just won't have to change.
I've always lived below my means, which by most measures minimizes impact. I used BART when I was younger. Caltrain later. I'm a big walker. I'm closing in on 60 and still about 150# and could probably outlast half the young kids out there. In a big year I might drive 8,000 miles. My vice is the RV, which we use a few thousand miles a year. Consider it offset.

We didn't have AC for years. Heating was electric baseboard and only used occasionally. That's one advantage of living in Palo Alto. I'd put my carbon footprint up against just about anyone.

Just because I'm a greedy, rich white republican doesn't mean I don't understand the economic benefits of living responsibly. That's how lots of us got wealthy. How's that for weird irony?

I don't think so...Where did you see that? The loss of the Antarctic ice cap and the massive Greenland glaciers would do that because they sit on land. All the increasing Arctic ice melt is telling us is that the northern hemisphere is warming faster than the south. Since it is sea ice it has no effect on sea levels..... The warming of the north is what is causing the rapid melt of Greenland's glaciers, which is raising sea levels...Greenland contains enough ice to raise the global sea level by 25 feet, so we'd better hope this does not continue. See the chart below...( a gigaton is one billion tons) Arctic sea ice just hit a record low. Here’s why it matters.

Is it so hard for you to comprehend that we've made a few advances in research in the last 40 years?
More bullcrap. They use the same ice core samples and ocean sediment samples they used in the seventies to push the global cooling crap they use today to push the global warming crap. What do you think the ice all melted and they took new samples? LOL

AS to your super duper computers they have already been caught over and over again manipulating the data they plug into the models so that is strike three on your thread.

Talk about arrogance.....
You actually think only the last 90 years have been analyzed? have you not heard on paleoclimatology?

Where did you get you degree in Paleoclimatology...Don't have one? I didn't think so.
