Judging from that video of Romney talking to his wealthy donors, I would say it is the wealthy who are promoting class warfare against the poor.

He simply said he can't change their minds, and he can't. Especially when you and the press push foward with class warfare

I'm sure, especially the retired and the members of the military who are part of that 47%.

Come now, do you really think a welfare recipiant can possibly be convinced to vote for anyone who might change the free ride? What did Romeny say that was at all untrue?
Too many Americans view Gov handouts as free, or as a right.

And the laughable moment came when they played a clip of Obama on Letterman saying the President has to work for everyone.... as if that is what Obama has been doing.

Obama is the most divisive person to ever hold the office of POTUS that I have seen.
That is up for debate, but Romney is clearly cramming his foot so far down his throat that it's coming out his ass. That was not a statement that would be uttered by someone who wanted to win an election. If he loses this election, he can look in the mirror for the reason why.

And he is 100% correct, but don't expect libs to be able to figure that out. It's a little more complex than 1+1, so it will confuse them.

I am retired, and I agree 100%+ with what Mitt said.

Nice try, though.

Yes, Obama is the divisive piece in this whole puzzle.

He did NOT simply say that.

Quote:
"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it -- that that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. ... These are people who pay no income tax. ... [M]y job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

"And too many leaching off "those many." (How many of the wealthy manage to avoid taxes? only their CPAs can say.)"

Avoiding taxes is the designed intent of the tax code that your guys have owned. that would be the censured charlie Rangel who headed the ways and means committee and our tax code.
AskTim Geithner or obama if they do not seek to use the tax cosde to pay as little as possible.

Look at Romney and see how much he donates to charity. His contribution dwarfs most of the dems taken together.

And yet those wealthy cheaters pay most of the total of tax collected.

When you cheat like Geithner and Rangel et al you get a slap on the wrist or elevated to head the treasury dept. You personally cheat and your fined into bankruptcy. have a problem with Obama's IRS being expanded to chase down cheats and destroy them? Talk about class warfare....it would be between the political class and everybody else.

Clinton/ Eric Holder pardon Marc Rich, a crooked investor. the DOJ clear Jon Corzine of any charges. See a pattern of favorites getting abreak by Obama? Goldman Sachs has more alumnae in the treasury dept than in GS.

So who is not paying their "fair share"?

Suggest your focus and indignation be redirected to the government who wastes more money than is possible to collect. To rail against people not paying their "fair share" is to be suckered in by the media propagandists and Obama who play you like a flute. Case in point, Obama 'invests half a billion $$$ of your money in a solar company that was known to be on the brink of failure....and he touts Solyndra as the shining example of the solar industry. That is not an investment, that is money laundering. Half a billion $$$. doesn't that constitute a cause for concern especially since he has lost money on several solar companies.

The 'wealthy aren't paying' scam is pap for the ignorant and gullible.

Really, think about why anyone would want to pay any taxes given the incredible waste. Your kid carelessly loses his allowence and asks you for more and you have no problem with his careless behavior so you give him more money? You enable that careless behavior if you give him more money.
