I would say that she has enjoyed the fruits of this nation like everyone else has. She has the option of opting out of the school insurance plan and buying one that includes the contraceptives. My company offers life insurance and it is cheap, but it doesnt pay a return ever unless you die. Instead I opt out and purchace my own policy.
I don't feel that she deserved the harsh words el blimpo leveled upon her, but at the same time there are options she choses not to use for whatever reason. As medication goes contraceptives are pretty cheap.

Saying the Top xx% pay xx% of total taxes is a meaningless number without also knowing what xx% of total income that Top xx% commands.

The percentage of the federal income tax they pay is MUCH larger than their share of the income.

The top 1% earn 16.93% of the income but pay 36.73% of the federal income tax
The top 5% earn 31.72% of the income but pay 58.66% of the federal income tax

They over-pay a lot compared to their share of the income.

Another naive comment from another uninformed person. We havent had a real middle class (not supported by real estate bubbles and easy credit) for quite some time now.

Fact: Those of us in the top 5% pay 60% of all taxes this country takes in on a Federal level
Fact: 47% of this country doesn't contribute one dime on a Federal level
Fact: That other 40% of all taxes this country takes in on a Federal level has to come from somewhere....

Anyone smarter than a tortilla chip should be able to look at these 3 facts and see 3 possible problems and solutions:

1) The bottom 47% is a complete drag upon our system and our economy, and all who are physically able should be contributing *something*, as they represent the single largest bloc of citizens
2) The "non rich" middle class types clearly pay taxes, as they make up for 40% of the tax revenue of this country and make up well over half the country (once one factors in that "the middle class" consists of every 60 year old on a pension, any retired person who wasn't so stupid that they elected to rely entirely upon social security, people on disability, as well as normal, hardworking Americans)
3) "The rich" already pays enough. When the 5% of us in this level are paying well over half of the totality, that should be enough. That leaves 95% of the country to cover only 40% of the bill. That's not unreasonable.

All of which leads one to one final conclusion:

What we have in America are 2 main problems:

1) A spending problem and
2) A problem with entitled slugs draining our system of precious resources.

Why do you call someone who pays zero taxes while others pay most of the burden???

Well, judging from your derisive contempt for your lessers, you are in no way a "precious resource".
* Romney's 47% includes pensioners and the working poor. You have reassigned these to the "middle class" for your argument. According to Romney this 47% believe that they are victims, and believe the government has a responsibility to care for them. Health care, food, and housing are "entitlements" (to apparently do away with).
* So you are one of the wealthy "victims"? How do you think that half of Americans have become poor enough to become as you say, "entitled slugs"?
* Your spin is just as disdainful of the lower classes as anything Romney, an Ayn Rand objectivist, or any corporate fascist says. This is blowhard Fox spin, repeated over and over to instill a guilt trip on the "clock-punching riffraff", and attempting to convince real Americans that the wealthy are victims of the lower classes. Straight out of Limbaugh's mouth over 30 years, complaining about upper-class (his) "hurting" and blaming Joe Lunchbox for it.
* It's not how much you pay - it's percentage of total income that's germane, and your repub heroes are pushing for zero percent on capital gains. Is that still too much?
* Again, you conveniently ignore the fact that the wealthy can get away with zero taxes - yet you complain about the tax burden. Right out of Fox!
* It's your investor class which takes advantage of tax breaks and slave wages to outsource jobs, then complain about unemployed "able-bodied slugs".

* Your post insinuates another right-wing view - that wealth somehow relates to intelligence and worthiness. Thus the corporate-owned media can dupe the lower classes. News flash - we ordinary citizens actually know better and are aware of the decades-long media snow job.
It's the "lower classes" which create demand, jobs, and prosperity - not the "1%". If that were true, after decades of trickle-down and tax breaks, we would be awash in jobs today. For many years, we have tried funnelling money upward to your class, and it has gotten us recession. You need more?
