I don't think folks understand this issue at all.

It isn't just radical muslims who believe any portrayal of Muhammad is a mockery. This is something widely accepted.

Not only that, muslims will agree that people have Freedom of Speech, but they will also stipulate that this does NOT give people the freedom to mock Islam or the Prophet.

Now, maybe there are folks here in the USA who can separate those two ideals, but check it out -- people in middle eastern countries don't care how much freedom of speech our Constitution allows - as far as they are concerned, it doesn't apply to their religion.

Using that same logic why should we care what a bunch of men in sheets think about American freedoms?

I for one would like to see the ME get turned into a sheet of glass.....
