He knows the amount. He wouldn't say it because then even the simpletons watching could do 4th grade arithmetic to see that he increased the debt over 50% by adding almost $6 tillion to $10.6 trillion.
You were not going to hear him say 'When I took office 3.5 years ago, it was $10.6 trillion and it is now $16 trillion'
Even Letterman asking, 'what was the debt?', leaned back and said, 'about 10 trillion?'... to which the O' spewed his mealy mouthed BS like some sort of 'what I say, not what you know'.
Until the average American cares there is no reason for him to care. People would rather stuff their heads in the sand than make the difficult decisions.

Don't agree that americans don't care, let me tell you something. People i know who lost jobs under this administration, all the way till now, care deeply.
They care about their lost jobs, more then half their lost homes, their children's lives. And their weaken bank accounts.
Americans do care, think all the people we have living in poverty, want to be there, not a very good status symbol, when we are now known as the Welfare Nation. With more and more people on welfare and food stamps each and every day.
For gosh sakes i knew an electrician who lost his job, he was doing good, sorry but he was up until 2010 till now.
No Obama wants to use the excuse people don't care, but honestly i don't think he seriously does, or he would know how much debt he is racking up.
My gawd, you create like 10 anti-Obama threads a day. Do you have a job? A life? You stalk the news and internet for anything that you can post about that you think will dissuade voters from voting for Obama. Sad.
