Democracy, for all intents and purposes, has been dead for some time. yet I think its less to do with SuperPacs
I would say that the death of the democracy is a result of a combination of jury mandering (got that spelled right) and large corporations/interests/pacs. This is a final straw that shows that the Supreme Court wants nothing more than the people ruled by a select few. . .businesses . . .but really, that ship has sailed.
When you know that the only thing you do to get elected is to serve the "party" f'ck the people. they dont' get you elected, thanks to your boundaries.
To get elected you only have to serve the party bosses
They serve the interests. . .the people pulling in the money.
So really, a gunshot in the dead horse. But in reality, democracy has been dead for sometime. Its really downhill from here.
