They pass a law to outlaw lobbyists and to install term limits then I got no problem paying em more.

Not true. They earn 174,000 plus spend little of it or earn it. They have assistants, clerks, secretaries, lawyers et al reading, summarizing, analyzing and recommending, not to mention the corporations and special interests they really work for. We pay them well so they won't be tempted by bribes, but bribes are what run our government so it's all to no avail.
Cut them all to part-time and let em get a real job.
