It never fails to amaze me how many people are so poorly educated, to the extent that they don't even understand the political theory and form of government structure and organization under which they live....

...but they are allowed to vote.

Do the words "federal republic" mean anything to you?

I tell you what, when the United States (plural) becomes the United State (singular) then you can do silly things like "first past the post."

The electoral college is an 18th century artifact that has no real utility today. The presidency should be decided the same as every other elected office at all levels: popular vote.
