You are wrong and you can't support your assertions.
The CEOs of GE, IBM, Exxon-Mobil and Wal-Mart work far harder than a toll booth ticket puncher or a telephone operator.
Also people in the working class don't have to worry about the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of employees.
It is easy to assume when you don't know the pressure...
Based on the trajectory of salaries/wages, the erosion of benefits & pensions, the increase in number of hours needed to work to support ones self and general state of the economy it certainly doesn't seem like the CEO's are terribly concerned about people's livelihoods.
I guess what I'm saying is,"could have fooled me..."
To the OP. Just kill them. If the "job creators" don't think they are worth employing, who are we to argue. That solution would lower the liability and the unemployment rate in one swoop. We could also provide the bodies to the soup kitchens, eliminating the need for food stamps for the working poor. Ayn Rand would be so proud of us!
When the government stops the handouts, there will be no leeches.
You can show leadership by NOT electing the person who will only perpetuate the current practices and actually increase them during his watch.
You think the increase to govenment handouts in the last three years was shocking; wait till you experience the next four given you don't change the occupant in the Whitehouse

Why do haters of free enterprise always like to pretend that being a CEO is exactly like being Ebenezer Scrooge?

What are you wasting your money on?
Gasoline? It's costing you twice as much as it did 4 years ago. Food is also up, a lot.
Companies are concerned about people's livelihoods and the reason that they are not hiring is directly related to Obama's policies. Ask anyone who owns a business about their uncertainty. Obamacare is killing job creation. Obamacare has precipitated the erosion of benefits.
If you happen to be a Democrat, you can never complain about energy prices. Democrats won't allow drilling or fracking or coal mining or pipelines.

In other words, you have no defense against the air-tight reasoning of fiscally responsible, concerned taxpayers when it comes to the national debt and deficit.
What's the real question here? Is it how to get rid of lazy government that leech off the people- or the other way around?
