Though many of his admirers have read the biography.
And many with an interest in the HISTORY of that period have read the Jon Anderson biography of Che. That's not the only one out there, but it is considered the classic.
What I always liked about "Che" is when he finally got caught..he started begging like a little girl...."oh..you guys don't know who you caught...I'm very famous"....the really good part was the Bolivian Army told him to lie down and relax..nothing was
going to happen to him..and they were sending for a doctor....then "bang"....
tot zuka, I find it amusing that first you brag about personally talking to the retired CIA agent in Miami who was with Che in Bolivia when he was executed, telling us "private" little stories, but when asked directly about Felix Rodriguez, the retired CIA agent in Miami who was with Che in Bolivia when Che was executed, you completely disappear. Why is that? Can you fill us in on whether Rodriguez lied to YOU or lied to the author, Jon Anderson, for his book? Or did you just happen to exaggerate things a bit? I can get the cite from Anderson's book where Rodriguez says that Che died like a man, not that he cried like a little girl. Also, Che was not killed immediately. He was executed much later by one of the soldiers who had been guarding him. That soldier is also a resident of Miami at this time. The soldier was told to be careful and NOT shoot Che in the face so that Che would be recognizable after his death. Did your friend, Rodriguez, tell you about that?
Why do you now not want to talk about the retired CIA agent in Miami who gave you the "inside scoop"?

Maybe because the poster understands what is on-topic vs off-topic unlike some other people...
