So think how stupid someone is who thinks Obama started it......that isn't being uninformed, that's plain brain dead stupid.

Once again , your post has nothing to do with the post of mine you quoted.

See, Republicans have a big problem with comprehension so maybe they are the "slower" party.

Obama did NOT start the war in Iraq . That is a FACT.

He voted against it. FACT

The war in Iraq was started under Bush. FACT.

As to your post: """can't take responsibility for their decisions"....so you don't think Bush, The Decider, should take responsibility for a war starting in his administration.....SOMEBODY can't take responsibility for their actions.....

Of course it is all relative since Americans in general are a pretty ignorant lot.

This is the typical liberal, elitist, condecending view of all Americans. I have found, quite to the contrary, that liberals can rarely "think on thier feet" and simply rehash a pat set of sound bytes provided by thier handlers. It is interesting, however, that most liberals considered themselves "enlighted" and intellectually superior- it is very amusing.

meh, I'm an independent and I find that not all conservatives are stupid white people but almost all stupid white people are conservative. The bulk of uneducated liberals are the minorities that are herded to the voting booths, but at least they're voting in their own interest unlike old billy bob that's working like a slave at his dead end job with no benefits yet doesn't seem to care as long as gay dudes can't get married and his kids don't have to learn about health or science in school.

How is it in their best interest to bankrupt the country and/or crash the US economy by ever-increasing dependence on government handouts?

You can't handle the truth.... Jack Nicholson

It is in their best interest because they serve their elite masters who get even more ultra rich regardless of the shape of the economy and more people on govt. assistance means mre votes for Dems. They can use their state media to smear the other side (who serves the same mater elites in reality) by saying that the other side is going to limit (or eliminate ) their benfits. Given how desperate and ignorant the average American has become lately, they fall for it

That is pretty logical don't you think

forcing employers to do the right thing is hardly a government hand out.

Let's just say Billy bob works in the trades and supports a family of 4 on 30k a year and has no medical benefits or retirement plan.
who picks up the tab when billy bob knocks his wife up?
who picks up the tab when billy bobs kids get sick or hurt?
who picks up the tab when billy bob can't send his kids to college?
who picks up the tab when bill bob's social security doesn't pay the bills after retirement?
you have to look at the big picture......
This is no different than people wanting to shut planed parenthood down and then complaining about all the teen pregnancies that the tax payers are paying for.

All true. But it only works until it doesn't. Their plantation owners (Democrat politicians and corporate friends) get rich and stay rich even when the game ends, but those dependent on government handouts are left with nothing. Hmmm...

Seven of the top ten wealthiest members in Congress are Democrats.

...This revelation of extreme wealth by Democratic politicians is completely contrary to the public image of the Democratic Party. President Obama has castigated “millionaires and billionaires,” suggesting they are evil people, largely Republican or conservative. The issue of the Democratic Party as the millionaire party has not yet made it into the mainstream media. But the facts are indisputable. Democratic members of Congress tend to be wealthier than their Republican counterparts.

...And, the wealthy Democrats tend to inherit their money. Republicans tend to earn it.
