And there's no such thing as unbiased news sweetie. Including Al-Jazeera

It takes 2 to tango argument might be true if the sides were even close to evenly matched. If both had a super power saving them from themselves. One can not even begin to compare a few rockets to a flight of cobras launching hellfire missiles, to M1A1's etc.
Ever been to Israel? I have. Ever seen a man trying to make a living have a group of soldiers destroy his product in front of his young son? I have. The man's sin was selling cocacola accross the street from a jewish merchant selling the same product for twice the price. Blowback is real.
It's easy to hate the Palestinians. I myself am no fan of their methods. That said Israel has no right to claim any moral high ground.

Try watching the BBC it's a tad less agenda motivated.
And no I am still not your sweety...

Indeed, this is the root of all discontent in the world, just as the Bible prophesied. Do you honestly think we support Israel "just because?" No, we support Israel because America has an unspoken (Christian!) obligation to counter the Muslim offensive to reclaim Jerusalem that has existed for thousands of years. We as a nation have never defended Islam. But we do defend Christianity and Judaeism. It's in our DNA as a country because we were founded off of Judeo-Christian ideals.

I dont feel it, i dont see it. American ideals? what does that mean anymore?
Once again the racist card comes out to be played to make a point. Do you ever think that sometimes that has about been played out? I sure do.

Is Netanyahu also campaigning these days? You could easily insert Obama in place of Netanyahu and have just what you say about old Bennie. I think you just stuck you foot in a pile of Pelosi and you need to scrape all of it off that you can.

and you have the hard left that pulls the race card at the drop of a hat and refuse to hold those on their side accountable for blatent lies, misrepresentation and character assasination. They would rather use talking points and make excuses than to even make the attempt at compromise.
Hardliners from bothsides are the blame and it is bi-partisan.

Obama simply meeting with Netanyahu would not be groveling to him. He does not have to agree with Netanyahu or support his issues, however, meeting with a country that has long been one of our staunchest allies and is perpetually under threat from neighboring countries and is also located in arguably one of the most strategic regions in the world would simply seem to be a smart decision and part of Obama's duties. Meeting with "Jay-Z" and the view isn't and frankly I find it ridiculous.

The Middle East is arguably at a turning point for us not to be involved in some sort of at least normal capacity is a tremendous foreign policy blunder.

What disturbs me is that you label any sort of marginal defense of Israel as right wing and imply that liberals and Obama are anti-Israel.

I've seen your posts around here and you borderline anti-Israel fanaticism at times, rejecting its total right to even exist (within its 1967 borders) AND talk about how Jews are "wealthy and disproportionaly powerful".

Sounds a bit warped. Nothing Obama would support!
Jews are wealthy and diproportionately powerful.

Here's a few names:

Jon Stewart
Michael Savage
Mark Levin
Michael Bloomberg
Joe Klein
Paul Krugman
Alan Greenspan
Bob Dylan
Ben Bernanke
Jack Abramoff
Steven Speilberg
Carl Levin
Ron Wyden
Bernie Sanders
Joe Lieberman

Etc.,etc.,etc. These people all punch above their weight politically.

Much of it is due to their own merits, but still, the President of the USA is hired to protect America's interests, not cater to all the demands of the Israelis. Besides the Lakud party has shown very little respect for the territorial rights of the Palestinians. They are pursuing a might makes right policy rooted in fanatacism. That is not something we should support.

Absolutely correct. The president is being silly. He can't keep that promise .
