You apparently don't understand how oil prices are set (futures/commodities markets), instead, issuing a nonsense argument somehow tying it to the Obama presidency. You are also ignorant of the fact that domestic oil production has INCREASED under Obama compared to Bush. Sorry to give you so many facts.
You also realize that if the economy were substantially stronger, the gas prices would probably be closer to $6 a gallon?

Not where I live. I'll complain about gas prices when they reach $8/gallon.
