Somehow, I think there is more to it than that.

I think they former Navy Seals were CIA and maybe they were trying to cover up what they were really doing there.

Well he and Hillary funded and backed the AQ led "rebels" in the overthrow of Momar. The same folks who turned around and stabbed him in the back by killing our ambasssador. The "cover up" was to hide the fact that he was played like a fiddle by them. And to top it all off he still wants to keep sending em money. Hell even more money. He is either on their side or the dumbest president to ever hold office.

His incompetence is the reason.

He wants to seem like a strong leader before the general election and strong leaders don't get their teeth kicked by a pack of Islamists.

He is in full CYA mod. He also can't say the word terror since he doesn't want to admit we have a terror problem. That was suppose to have been taken care of when Bin Laden died.

I'm going with a combination between dumb and too busy campaigning. He's so dumb he thinks those people can be our friends. And now he has to hide facts because the morons who love him might actually see how dumb he is if he's suddenly 'transparent'.

He sent Hillary out with the idiotic video message and to save his administration, they have to somewhat stick by that lie. Hillary will soon realize she's been made a fool of and will retaliate. Could be an October surprise from Bill and Hill. Wouldn't that be fun!

Osama may be dead (where's the proof?), but he lives on.

His re-election campaign is the reason. He can't say how great our relationships are with the middle east because of him while there are terrorist attacks on American embasys and people.

YOU'RE making an ASSUMPTION, and then asking people to respond based on YOUR ASSUMPTION.

Obama DID NOT cover anything up.

Obama waited until he had all the facts before referring to it as a terrorist act.

Asked why Obama has declined to use the term “terrorist attack,” Carney said “there’s no reason that he chose the words he did beyond trying to provide a full explanation of his views and his assessment that we need to await further information that the investigation will uncover.”
You simply don't like that Obama uses his head and keeps his cool during events like this.

Obama knows the world is listening to everything he says, so he doesn't jump to conclusions until he is certain of the facts.

I'm guessing you already forgot about the infamous idiotic presidential statement "Bring Em On" and the damage it caused:

Uses his head? If he had used his head he never would have funded AQ "rebels" to use as his merc force to take out momar or gave them NATO air support.
